"Such short little lives our pets have to spend with us, and they spend most of it waiting to for us to come home every day. It is amazing how much love and laughter they bring into our lives and even how much closer we become with each other because of them"

Jack Heim lost a very special friend this past March. Dusty was a dog that would hunt for anyone that would take him to the starting gate. Over the past 4 or 5 years, anytime Dusty's name was mentioned, anyone in ear shot knew exactly who was being talked about. To say Dusty was well known on the tournament circuit would be an understatement. Dusty retired 5th all time on the BDC Lifetime Pointer list with 799 lifetime points. Dusty only competed for four years, but in that short span he achieved 5 Super Major wins and 6 Major wins. No one knows what this great Brittany might have accomplished had he been introduced to tournament hunting at an earlier age!

Dusty's ashes were spread over "The Hollow" at Windy Creek Farm in South Dakota this past October. Dusty will spend the rest of eternity hunting his favorite fields and all that had the pleasure to hunt over him will always have a place in their heart for him !  Well done "old boy"!!
